Endoprosthetics

The Actinia® Hip Stem System features a complete range of cementless and cemented options designed for primary arthroplasty.

Actinia® Hip Stem System

Primary Endoprosthetics

The Aida® Short Stem is designed to provide metaphyseal-only cementless anchorage within the spongiosa of the proximal femur. It is proximally supported at the calcar as well as laterally via the distal tip.

Aida® Short Stem

Primary Endoprosthetics

The EcoFit® CDH Hip Stem is available in both a cementless and a cemented version each with a CCD angle of 145°.

EcoFit® CDH Hip Stem

Primary Endoprosthetics

The EcoFit® Total Hip System includes a complete variety of cementless and cemented hip stems for primary arthroplasty.

EcoFit® Hip Stem

Primary Endoprosthetics

In addition to the primary hip stems, the EcoFit® Hip System also offers the option of a short stem system.

In order to minimise the micro movement that can cause polyethylene (PE) wear at the metal shell - PE liner interface, a special locking mechanism has been developed. This allows the use of a BIOLOX® delta ceramic insert or a PE insert with the same cup design.

EcoFit® Cup

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

This tripolar or dual mobility design not only reduces the risk of dislocation but it also increases the range of motion.

EcoFit® 2M Cup

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

This tripolar or dual mobility design not only reduces the risk of dislocation but it also increases the range of motion.

EcoFit® 2M SP Cup

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

EPORE® is a highly porous structure made of titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) - an excellent material for use as a porous in-growth structure as it is biological inert, ductile, corrosion resistant and also has a high fatigue strength.

EcoFit® EPORE® Cup

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

The PE-Cup Mueller II is a cemented hip cup made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for use with 22mm, 28mm and 32mm ic-heads.

PE Cup Mueller II

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

The BIOLOX® delta inserts are made of a mixed oxide ceramic and form the articulation partner for the BIOLOX® forte and BIOLOX® delta femoral heads.

BIOLOX® Components

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

There are two types of implantcast metal heads. Both are intended for use of cemented ultra-high molecular weight (UHMWPE) cups, UHMWPE liners (when used with compatible cementless acetabular components) and UHMWPE bipolar head inserts.

ic-head

Femoral Heads / Acetabular Cups

The implantcast range of ic-bipolar heads has been designed for use in hemiarthroplasty procedures - especially for femoral neck fractures.

The titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) MUTARS® RS Cup is a modular revision device which is flattened at the pole. Initial primary stability is gained via a wedge-shaped ischial flange and an arch-shaped illiac flange with screw holes.

MUTARS® RS Cup

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics

The titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) MUTARS® LUMiC® Cup can be fixed within the wing of the ilium with either a modular cementless hydroxyapatite (HA) coated TiAl6V4 stem or a modular cemented matt-finished cobalt chromium molybdenum alloy (CoCrMo) stem.

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics

proximal (metaphyseal) components
The MUTARS® RS system offers four titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) proximal component options each with a 12/14 morse taper.

distal (diaphyseal) components
There are 31 hydroxyapatite (HA) coated titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) cementless stems available in the MUTARS® RS system in 3 different lengths which come in 1mm increments.

MUTARS® RS ES

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics

The MUTARS® Diaphyseal Implant is a modular system comprising the diaphyseal component itself (available in a silver-coated and/or a titanium nitride (TiN) coated option), the connecting part and extension pieces (available in a silver-coated option), cementless and cemented stems plus a range of bolts or screws to securely connect the impant construct.

MUTARS® Diaphyseal Implant

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics

The type of MUTARS® proximal femoral replacement required depends on whether trochanteric reattachment is planned. If so then the RS version is best suited as this option allows the use of titanium alloy (TiAl6V4) trochanteric plates that are screwed to the lateral shoulder of the proximal component and capture the osteotomy.

MUTARS® Proximal Femoral Replacement and Proximal Femoral Replacement RS

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics

The reconstruction length can be adjusted in 10mm increments.

MUTARS® Total Femoral Replacement MK

Revision / Tumour Endoprosthetics
