ACS® FB System / ACS® FB PS System
With the primary ACS® FB System the PE-insert is fixed to the tibial component via a snap-fit mechanism.
The ACS® FB PS system (PS = posterior stabilized) is used for the functional replacement of the posterior cruciate ligament.
With the primary ACS® FB System the PE-insert is fixed to the tibial component via a snap-fit mechanism.
With the primary ACS® FB System the PE-insert is fixed to the tibial component via a snap-fit mechanism. There are PE inserts of different congruences (standard, hyperflex, ultra) available, which allow different mobility between femoral components and PE-inserts.
The ACS® FB PS system (PS = posterior stabilized) is used for the functional replacement of the posterior cruciate ligament. The presence of the femoral spindle and the PE-peg results in a posterior stabilization of the knee joint during articulation between the femoral and tibial component.
